Ahuizotl - Snuff Out the Light by unoservix Ahuizotl - Snuff Out the Light by unoservix
oh god it has been way too long since i did this

and i started off with Ahuizotl too oh my god why did i do that to myself he is so difficult to draw you don't even know

anyways yes, have Ahuizotl doing a villain song. technically this song probably should have gone to Nightmare Moon, what with it being about bringing everlasting darkness and all, but i already gave her a comic and i can't really think of any better songs for Ahuizotl than this one.

so, hat tip to the crazy bronies on TV Tropes, who created a gigantic tropes page for the whole Daring Do book series. i incorporated bits and pieces of it here, but tried not to do the whole thing, since it's constantly changing and trying to piece together a story out of trope examples is how Charles Manson went insane. true story, ask anybody.

also, the song is from an early version of The Emperor's New Groove. Yzma was going to have a villain song in early versions of the movie, but then production hell happened and her song got cut from the film, but survived on the soundtrack.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (c) Hasbro, Lauren Faust, et al
various vectors, like the Nightmare Moon statue, the mare-containing moon, and the backgrounds in the first and last couple panels from :iconmlp-vectorclub:

as always, feel free to make recordings and stuff. and if you can convincingly imitate Ahuizotl's accent, i will award you one (1) internet.

also Ed Wood is best pony.

EDIT 6/27: there is always a derp somewhere. thanks to :iconbob1984: for pointing it out

Her wings were open in the beginning. I think that she didn't close them.

Great comic! I love the Emperor's New Groove and this song, even though it's not in the movie itself. Ahuizotl looks like he's fun to draw. And those ponies of the Nightmare Moon cult are so well designed, and you can tell that they each have their own individual personalities! You are so good at character design. ^_^ Just curious, did you give the cult ponies any names? (That white one with the thingy on his eye, he looks like he might be a reference to something. Yu-gi-oh, perhaps?)

Y'know, it's kinda ironic; in the episode "Daring Don't", Ahuizotl wanted to bring years of unbearable heat and sunlight, while in the comic he wants to bring eternal darkness. I know this comic was made long before the episode, so it's just so coincidental.

the white pony with the Millennium Eye is a shameless and unadulterated reference to Pegasus from Yu-Gi-Oh!, but other than that, i didn't give them any names or anything

It could've been worse. Imagine if Pinkie started watching The Room. Tommy Wiseau would become her next Ed Wood.
